Villa da Schio Castelgomberto

The garden was designed in the traditional style of the era, that is, "the Italian garden at the front, bearing box hedges and lemon trees". There are also several statues made by the "Officina del Marinali" throughout the garden and framing the large pond or "Peschiera" are statues representing biblical and mythological figures.

The pond is fed by the small Poscola River which was expressly diverted to allow the garden to be built. In the garden there are three, tree lined lanes which were specifically designed to compliment the overall architectural perspective. At the end of each of these lanes is a terrace from where you have a marvellous view of the countryside next to the villa.
